For Books
- Goods will be fulfilled by either Elsevier Ltd. or Elsevier Inc., depending on the goods’ originality. Delivery will then be made via Air Express Carriers, or equivalent, and will require a signature upon delivery. Delivery times stated on our website are estimated for guidance only and we are unable to state a specific day or time when delivery will be made. Goods will be dispatched when payment has been received.
- Please provide a telephone number to avoid your order being declined or delayed.
- Please note that we are unable to fulfill any orders that require delivery to a P.O. Box address.
For e-Books
After placing your e-Book order, we will email the e-Book activation code to you, within 48 working hours
Delay in Shipping
Delays in shipping can be due to titles that are not yet available at the time of ordering and have been backordered due to the reasons listed below. In this situation your credit card will not be charged until the title is available for dispatch.
If you have made an order items which are Pre-orders/Not yet published - these titles have not been published and will be dispatched as soon as available. Please check our website for the due date.

Payment Policy
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express credit cards.
Your credit card will be charged once the product that was ordered is available for dispatch.
Please note that for selected orders, an authorization fee of $1 will be charged once the order is confirmed.
If some items are not available in an order we will split the order. Items will be charged and dispatched immediately when they become available
Events outside our control
You acknowledge that Elsevier will not be in breach of obligations under these terms and conditions to the extent that any failure or delay in performing its obligations occurs because of an event or circumstance which is outside Elsevier's reasonable control including without limitation, any act of God, war and other hostilities, fire, flood, strikes, lockouts, delays in transport, breakdowns in equipment, or restrictions or prohibitions or any other acts by any government or semi-government authority.

Distribution:
The Client shall not engage in piracy, reproduction, or plagiarism of the Products or any other products of Elsevier or its affiliates, nor shall it directly or indirectly facilitate any other party to engage in those activities. The Client shall promptly notify Elsevier if it becomes aware of any piracy, reproduction, or plagiarism of the Products by any third party. The Client is solely responsible for collecting from its customers amounts due in respect of its sales of the Products, exercising full credit control and solely bearing all of its own losses resulting from any uncollected amounts. Delays or failures in obtaining such payments will not affect the Client's obligation to make payments to Elsevier under clause 5.
Intellectual property:
Copyright and other intellectual property rights to all Elsevier proposals, publications and other Products and or Services shall remain with Elsevier unless agreed otherwise in writing. The rights granted by Elsevier are restricted to use solely by the Client and may not be assigned, transferred or sublicensed without the prior written permission of Elsevier. The rights granted by Elsevier are non-exclusive and for the purpose expressly agreed upon. Any other use shall require the prior written permission of Elsevier. The Client shall not acquire any intellectual property rights in the Products. No part of the Elsevier proposals, publications or Products may be stored in any automated data file and/or reproduced, whether electronically, mechanically, by photocopying, recording or in any other manner or form, without the specific prior written permission of Elsevier.
Return Policy:
For Books
You may return books and electronic products (excluding PDA software, online service products, and downloads) within 30 days from the invoice date for a full refund.
These items must be in a saleable condition.
You will be responsible for and will pay the cost of returning the items back to the respective warehouse by the same method as it was delivered. The items will be returned at your risk.

Quantity that you are returning
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse returns which do not arrive in saleable condition. We will not process returns for Damaged, soiled, marked or torn items
For Clinics
Please note that individual issues of all Clinics purchased through http://www.asia.elsevierhealth.com are not returnable. All sales are final. No refund will be issued for Clinics issues returned to us.
For eBooks
No requests for returns will be entertained for the purchase of eBooks.
